This year, the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, which also co-organises the Detect Classic Festival, is celebrating its 35th anniversary. Our warmest congratulations.

The Detect Classic Festival is part of tuned - network for contemporary classical music. Together with 5 other festivals in Germany, we are exploring new perspectives for the classical concert business.

We know that some people would like to arrive on Thursday. However, this is NOT possible! On Thursday there is no infrastructure, camping sites and no check-in. Please plan your arrival for Friday from 11 am.

what is the detect classic festival?

The Detect Classic Festival is a space for experimentation and experience for all those who want to discover musical worlds and broaden their horizons. For one weekend, we explore classical and ambient, electronic and contemporary, avant-garde, beats, rhythm, room acoustics and blur the boundaries between club, open air and concert hall.
