faq volunteering
Do you have questions about volunteering at the Detect Classic Festival? Then you will find the answers here.
We have five areas of responsibility for helpers:
Guards: You help our guests to find their way to the parking lot and the camping sites, support us at the entrance or control access to important areas of the festival.
Environmental Guardians: You make sure that the festival site is always nice and clean.
Kitchen Crew: You support our caterer in providing our artists and crew with delicious meals during the festival.
Setup/Dismantling: You support us before and/or after the festival in setting up/dismantling the finizio toilets and other festival infrastructure.
Awareness: Support our awareness team in making the structures at the festival safer and more inclusive and in creating spaces where people can be sure that they will be listened to and treated in a trustworthy way.
Each volunteer takes on two shifts during the festival. In return, you will receive a full refund of the ticket price. You must buy a normal festival ticket (140 €); you will only be refunded once you have completed both shifts. Snacks will be provided during your shift.
Different conditions apply to awareness persons. You will find out more in a personal conversation with the awareness management.
If possible, you should be available to work shifts between Thursday 7th August and Monday 11th August. There will be a briefing for everyone on Friday.
