Because it was so wonderful, we will be returning to Holdenweid for the second edition of the festival from 4 to 6 September 2026. Save the date!
what is between mountains?
Born from the idea of bringing the concept of the Detect Classic Festival in Germany to Switzerland, we have been organising Between Mountains – a festival in Hölstein in the canton of Basel-Landschaft – together with kfka – Kollektiv für kulturelle Aufgaben since 2025.
For one day and one night, we explored classical and ambient music, electronic and contemporary sounds, avant-garde, beats, rhythm and room acoustics at the Holdenweid, blurring the boundaries between open-air concerts, raves and chamber music.
