what is between mountains?

Born from the idea of bringing the concept of the Detect Classic Festival from Germany to Switzerland, we have been organising Between Mountains – a festival in Hölstein in the canton of Basel-Landschaft – in collaboration with kfka – Kollektiv für kulturelle Aufgaben since 2025.

For one day and one night at Holdenweid, we explore classical and ambient music, electronic and contemporary sounds, avant-garde, beats, rhythm and spatial acoustics, blurring the boundaries between open-air concerts, raves and chamber music.
