get to know our festival crews

As the saying goes: behind every great festival are many creative minds, and we’re no exception!

A huge thank you to all our crews, many of whom have been with us for years, growing alongside us and bringing that unmistakable Detect atmosphere to Schloss Bröllin year after year.

We ♡ you!

octopus collective · kids’ bay

Since 2023, the old pigsty has been bustling with colourful activity during the festival. This is where the Octopus Collective hosts its Kids’ Floor.

Kids’ Bay offers a shared space to play, rest, create and spend time together – inspired by the currents and moods of the Baltic Sea. A wide bay where people of all ages can arrive, explore and grow.

Alongside plenty of hands-on activities and small concerts, there is also a Kids’ Rave, where the little ones can experience a festival in an age-appropriate way.

specht crew · bogen & liquide hörbar

For many years, the collective from Spechthausen near Eberswalde has been designing the Bogen, where orchestras, bands and electronic acts perform. Since 2025, the Spechtys have also been hosting the “Liquide Hörbar” at the Food Court with resident DJs between acts.

dunkelstrom · light art

Since 2019, Dunkelstrom has been lovingly and imaginatively transforming the entire festival grounds with installations.

Keep your eyes open, especially at night!

bröllin bar · schloss bröllin e.v.

For 30 years, Schloss Bröllin has been an open space for artists and guests from all over the world. The association is an international production center for performative arts and offers rooms and spaces as well as creative exchange and freedom for artistic work of any discipline.

The Detect Classic Festival has been hosted here every year since 2022 - and the people of Bröllin provide all visitors with delicious coffee, drinks and sometimes cake in their in-house bar. From time to time, there are also pop-up flea markets or spontaneous concerts here.

Right next to the Bröllin Bar, a huge building rises up, only topped by the tower behind the Bröllin Bar.

silo · kollektiv eigenklang & more

The old distillery becomes a performance space during Detect. The Kollektiv eigenklang will supervise the performances and will also invite people to a participatory jam.

After a visit to the Silo, we continue along the path to Flora. As soon as we reach the small hill behind the farm, the view opens up to endless fields, hills, trees and sunsets. Strange, shiny plants grow on the large open-air floor...

flora · das pack

The history of Das Pack can be traced back to the very first Detect. An old Berlin collective and the former house project ttt - werkstatttraum became a circle of friends and finally Das Pack.

When melodies pollinate harmonies and deep-rooted classical music branches out with blossoming basses, an oasis of sonic pleasure awakens. It grows, conquers and thrives. Here you have arrived in the garden of Flora!

The Pack collective invites you to experience the world of Mother Nature anew in the upheaval of the industrial tides. Here, not only musical sounds, but also the elements of the earth merge: metallic blossoms grow up, fresh glass shoots transform into sturdy plants and meadows of unknown flowers conquer the landscape. This is the beginning of something new.

kokon · lange.weile

Between the trees, in a small clearing, we find numerous lounging areas, carpets, burrows and more. Sculptures and colors are reminiscent of honey.... Since we first came to Schloss Bröllin in 2022, the Lange.weile crew from Leipzig has set up a cozy ambient floor here, which has continued to grow.

cozy hour space & awareness tent

The Cozy Hour Space is a new, consumption-free retreat on the festival site - for children, families and all people who want to find peace and quiet.

No alcohol, no drugs, no tobacco are to be allowed. Instead, we invite you to relax, talk about our work, reflect together, breastfeed babies, interact with children...

Our awareness crew has designed this space as a chill and conversation area - cosy, accessible and open. There are sofas, carpets and seating, a children's quiz, books for adults and children (on topics such as discrimination, diversity and queer life), as well as interactive impulses.

The awareness tent is located directly behind the Cozy Hour Space. The tent cannot be seen from the outside and offers enough space for those affected and a small group of supporters. The Safer Space has a cosy atmosphere.

A mattress, blankets, rugs, a table, indirect lighting, etc. can be provided here. Non-alcoholic drinks, fruit, glucose, pretzel sticks and tea are available.

You can find out more about our awareness concept at the festival here.

After paying a visit to the Cozy Hour Space, we walk behind it into the building, from the entrance of which billows of clouds of fog and booming bass...

stattbad · hütte

We affectionately call the Hütte crew our wild card. Every year, the Berlin crew creatively transforms the small indoor floor. On Friday and Saturday night, you will find DJ sets in quick succession, with the occasional punk concert in between.

The name is always new and so is the design, but the vibe is always just as amazing. That’s Hütte. This year, the floor is called Stattbad.

It definitely has something to do with bathing.

kirche · bröllin

Bröllin is home to a small fieldstone church from the 13th century. It is part of the parish of Brüssow and Fahrenwalde. We keep discovering exciting installations and works of art here. And, of course, we also bring back great concert formats and more every year.

The Bröllin church remains a place of contemplation and contemplation during the festival weekend.

Our tour of the festival site is now over. There are still plenty of secrets and surprises to discover on site.

Stay curious.
