Do you have questions about volunteering at the Between Mountains Festival? You can find the answers here.
We have a variety of roles available for volunteers:
Guard / All-Rounder: You will assist us in monitoring access to important backstage areas and rooms. Furthermore, you will act as our right-hand person, providing support for short-notice tasks. These are 4-hour shifts.
Traffic warden: You will help our guests find their way to the car park and park correctly so that everyone can enter and leave without any problems. These are 4-hour shifts.
Box Office: Das ist der stehende Begriff für die Ticketkasse vor Ort bei Festivals, Konzerten oder im Theater. These are 4-hour shifts.
Awareness: You will support our awareness team in making the festival structures less discriminatory and less violent, and in creating spaces where people can feel safe, listened to and treated with respect. These are 4-hour shifts.
Driver / All-Rounder: You will shuttle our artists to the hotel or airport, and/or transport our guests from the festival grounds to the campsite using a minibus (Category B). These are 4-hour shifts.
Artist Care: You will make sure our artists feel right at home. You’ll look after them on-site, show them the ropes, and be there to help them with whatever they need. These are 4-hour shifts.

Each volunteer will work one shift during the festival. In return, you will receive a full refund for the ticket price. You must purchase a regular festival ticket (80.-); the refund will only be issued once you have completed your shift. Snacks and drinks will be provided during your shift.
If possible, please make yourself available for one shift during the festival.
Sign up on our volunteer platform and select your preferred shift. All tasks labeled 'Volunteer' can be chosen independently. If you are interested in a different shift, please get in touch with Nadia (nadia@kfka.ch).
Yes, you must purchase a regular festival ticket (80.-) to participate as a volunteer at our festival. We will reimburse you for the ticket price in cash after you have completed your shift. This way, we can ensure that volunteers show up for their shifts.
