Our bars will provide you with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You are welcome to bring your own drinks to the festival grounds, but please refrain from bringing glass bottles, which pose a safety hazard and are difficult to dispose of. Our collectives are partially financed by the proceeds from the bars.
There will be food stalls on the grounds offering a variety of dishes.

The lack of rainfall and warm temperatures have further exacerbated the drought in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. A level 4 risk (high risk) for forest fires is in force across the canton. The Cantonal Crisis Management Team (KFS) has therefore imposed a total ban on outdoor fires – the ban now also extends to open countryside and built-up areas.
Please leave your dogs at home. Assistance and therapy dogs are permitted on the festival grounds, but must be kept on a leash at all times.
The Between Mountains Festival takes place at the Holdenweid Impulse Centre.
Holdenweid in Hölstein, Baselland, is surrounded by extensive forests, meadows and pastures. After decades of standing empty, the abandoned walls of the former psychiatric homes have been brought back to life over the past two years or so thanks to the operation to Impulszentrum Holdenweid.
The spacious infrastructure offers plenty of room for two open-air stages. The building also has numerous smaller and larger indoor spaces, each with its own unique and inspiring atmosphere. You can explore them for concerts and performances.

A drinking water point is marked on the festival map. You’ll find water balloons at the bars.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a designated drinking water point at the campsite this year. It’s best to bring your own water bottles and/or water canisters.

The nearest train station is «Hölstein, Station». It is only a 20-minute walk from the festival site, and the route is signposted.

You can reach the station «Hölstein, Station» via Liestal with the Waldenburgerbahn.
The Waldenburgerbahn runs all night, providing convenient connections back to Liestal and Basel. Please note the SBB timetable.
If you wish to travel by car, drive from Liestal in the direction of Hölstein. Shortly before entering the village, you will find the festival site at the Impulszentrum Holdenweid. Follow the signs and the main road towards the village center. Signage and traffic marshals will direct you along the Alte Landstrasse. Please note: We cannot guarantee parking availability.
We provide a free shuttle bus between the tent campsite, the camper van areas and the festival site. The bus runs approximately every 15 minutes. If demand is high, we’ll switch to non-stop service. The shuttle runs exclusively at the specified times:

The Between Mountains Festival aims to bring people together through music, regardless of their origin, gender, religion, age or disability.
If you experience any kind of harassment, discrimination or simply feel uncomfortable, or if you witness such behaviour towards others, we are here for you.
There is a permanently integrated awareness room in the production building on our premises.
You can find out exactly where to find us on the Schloss Bröllin grounds at the entrance, on every floor, at every bar and from anyone with a radio.

By entering the festival grounds, you expressly agree to our awareness concept.
Our security staff will ensure that everything runs smoothly at the entrance and on the premises. If you or anyone else on the premises is in trouble, do not hesitate to contact security, bar staff or anyone working at the festival — they will be happy to help you.
Bags will be searched for glass bottles and dangerous items at the entrance.

We are a family- and child-friendly festival.
Admission is free for children under 12 years of age.
The concert venues in the outdoor area and on the first floor are wheelchair accessible, while the rooms on the second floor can be accessed by lift accompanied by a member of the Holdenweid team.
There are no age restrictions for the outdoor area of the festival grounds. From 10 p.m., access to the festival grounds is only permitted for adults aged 18 and over. Children accompanied by a parent or guardian are also welcome.
Loud music will be played on the festival grounds, so please bring adequate ear protection for small children.

tickets
Access to the festival grounds is only possible with a festival wristband, which you will receive upon presentation of your personalised ticket at the entrance. The entire festival runs from 6.00 p.m. on Friday until 5.00 p.m. on Sunday.
If you only want to experience the festival atmosphere during the day, you can alternatively purchase a day ticket.
Only persons with a camping ticket may stay overnight on our camping areas.
All tickets are available in the shop or on site.
Tickets will be available for purchase on-site as long as they are available.
Our day tickets give you flexible access across all three days:
With the Friday ticket, you can kick off from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM and enjoy the special atmosphere.
The Saturday ticket offers an extended experience from 10:00 AM to 4:00 AM – perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to miss a thing.
The Sunday ticket invites you to wind down the event in a relaxed way from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Simply choose the day that suits you best and be part of it!
Please present your tickets at check-in either printed out or on your smartphone. We will then exchange the ticket for a festival wristband.

Only those with a valid ticket are permitted to stay overnight in a tent or campervan on our camping sites. If you do not yet have a ticket, please arrange alternative accommodation. Thank you for your understanding.

In order to comply with safety regulations and ensure everyone’s protection, we separated the tent and camper van areas this year.
Unfortunately, our campervan/van camping areas are already fully booked this year!
This year, you have the option of staying overnight in a campervan or van at one of two sites. The number of spaces is limited, which is why only those who have purchased a free camping ticket per vehicle may stay here.
Please keep the camping sites clean. Music systems, private parties and noise are strictly prohibited in the camping areas!

Please keep the camping pitches clean. Portable speakers, private parties and noise are strictly prohibited on the camping sites!
