With plenty of gold on their hips, performance artist Frida Zack and friends throw a party celebrating human fat in “Speck”. Amidst bittersweet landscapes of flesh, breathless exhaustion from struggle and the shattering power of fat, the approximately 40-minute dance performance Speck opens up a world in which (fat) bodies dance through memories of shame, fragile moments of vulnerability and the power of self-acceptance.
