“Oscillations / Fractures” is the new multi-percussion solo programme by composer and performer Maximilian Wolfgang Schwarz. Each piece is an exploration of rhythm, sound and structure. The compositions – as dynamic as they are introspective – invite a dialogue between acoustic and electronic elements.
Schwarz draws on a broad spectrum of influences, ranging from contemporary classical music, through the integration of diverse elements from other musical cultures around the world, to experimental electronic music, always with the aim of creating music that transcends traditional boundaries and invites the listener into an auditory landscape where distinctive pulses meet unheard sounds. “Oscillations / Fractures” is a sonic journey that challenges expectations, breaks with convention and reveals the diversity of the world of percussion.
