And almost just as quickly, it shifts to the opposite: Am I too little? – not enough, not interesting, not beautiful.
The solo concert Am I too much? for electric guitar takes this tension between “too much” and “too little” as its guiding thread. Between noise and silence, overload and reduction, virtuosity and fragility, a journey of attention unfolds. Works by Fausto Romitelli (Remix) and Morton Feldman are interspersed with world premieres by Svetlana Maraš, Nicolas Berge, and Carlos Hernandez, prompting us to ask what listening means today.
