During the autumn holidays, we are organising workshops for teenagers and young adults from the Wendland together with Elena Gniss from AFAR and the Orchester im Treppenhaus. Over two days, you can explore music and its many facets.

The workshop with Elena Gniss from AFAR is entitled ‘The power of the voice: discovering your voice through theatre and play to your own improvisation’. Look forward to discovering your own and other people's voices.
The Orchester im Treppenhaus and the WasWennLand team are offering a workshop on the topic ‘Involvement in music festival design’.
The day programmes are free of charge, including lunch. On 10 October, we will make pizza together with musical accompaniment.

about the artists in residence
AFAR consists of two musicians collaborating. Danceable rhythms underlaid with haunting vocals meet atmospheres of multi-instrumental soundscapes.
What can classical music do today? The Orchester im Treppenhaus has been working on an expanded concept of concert formats for several years. With playful research, it investigates the limits of the live concert situation, opening doors to new listening experiences, intimate moments and surprising content. The award-winning, 20-piece ensemble is one of the leading representatives of the innovative classical music scene in Germany and Europe.
The ‘Kreativtage Musik’ are a project of Detect Sounds gUG and Ein Ding der Möglichkeit eG in cooperation with Aller.Land.
