For more than 15 years, Silvia Seidel has worked as a coach, motivational trainer, consultant, project manager, researcher, and lecturer for NGOs, educational institutions, and public and private organizations.
A classically trained pianist since the age of five, she now combines her musical background with ethnological research. Inspired by Indigenous musical instruments she encountered during her studies and travels through Indonesia, India, and Thailand, she explores experimental approaches to sound and listening.
At her Atelier Zauberling in Germany's Uckermark region, she develops educational programmes on environmental awareness, sustainability, nature conservation, art, sound, music, and material culture. Drawing on traditional knowledge from Indigenous cultures, Silvia creates interdisciplinary approaches to stress management, health promotion, and burnout prevention. Through her initiative WaldLing Naturerleben, she also leads outdoor Digital Detox seminars that reconnect people with nature through hands-on, sensory experiences.
