Saraabb is an electronic music project fusing Sufi music's spiritual depth with heavy electronic beats, featuring live Sufi singing, synthesizers, and electric guitar. Rooted in Damascus and Berlin, their sound narrates a journey through tradition and passion.
The trio's diverse backgrounds shape their music: Wasem's rock and metal foundation, Alaa's fusion jazz and funk, and Salah's deep Sufi influence. As refugees overcoming war and displacement, their experiences infuse their music with raw emotion and transformation. Formed in Berlin, Saraabb evolved within its vibrant electronic scene, merging diverse influences into an innovative sound. They are part of Wuza Berlin.
