Malu is an Andalusian born, Berlin based shapeshifter, radio host and non-genre dj intertwining sound-art collages into danceable manoeuvres, exploring the edge in between somatic and embodied listening practices. Her sound oscillates between the ritual and the atmospheric, weaving its way amid spoken and operatic scenes, underwater melodies, dubby grounds, stretched reggaetones, temple bells, primitive percussions and insidious harmonies that tell stories as diverse as music itself.
Her sonic practice has been showcased in venues, institutions and festivals such as Berghain Kantine, Fusion Festival, Savvy Contemporary, Seanaps Festival, Instituto Cervantes, 90mil, Casa Montjuïc, Palma Dansa Festival, Aadk Spain, or UT Connewitz, and independent radio stations like Refuge Worldwide, Radio Alhara, Byte FM, Dublab, Radio Relativa, or Cashmere Radio.
