Maerie C. Fricke is a visual artist. She has just left Vienna and is on her way to Düsseldorf.
She works with sound, materials and transformation, and sees her works as open-ended processes. In doing so, she seeks out quiet moments and collective processes of resilience. Her works navigate the realms of listening, experimentation and encounter, exploring how relationships form and what connects us to one another, even under social pressure.
