M.RUX, born and raised in Rostock, began his musical journey as a child with classical piano lessons. As a self-taught musician on various instruments and through playing in local bands, he only turned to electronic music in 2009 after moving to Berlin.
While producing an album for the renowned label Shitkatapult for his project 'The Sorry Entertainers' in 2011, M.RUX began performing and producing music under his stage name and co-founded the record label YNFND. In 2016, his debut album 'In The Hold' brought him recognition both within and outside Europe, leading to tours in countries such as Brazil, the USA, Mexico and Japan, where he shared the stage with artists such as Nicola Cruz, El Buho, Satori, Islandman, Uji and many others.
