Elise and That Guy is the back-to-back project of Skinny Duchamp and Elise. Formed in Berlin in 2023, the Italian-Greek duo span progressive breaks, electro, tech house and minimal, all drawn from a shared record collection. A winter's day queue at Hoppetosse brought them together, and they've been building sets off each other's instincts ever since.
Elise is a Greek/British record collector from Thessaloniki. For the past five years, she’s been devoted to vinyl and its sound, digging up second hand records in the most obscure places. Her sets move between breaks, downtempo and progressive house, with a particular love for the 1998-2005 era.
Leonardo Badia aka Skinny Duchamp was born in Italy in 1985. Resident in various crucial parties in the Neapolitan scene until the end of the 2010s, based in Berlin since 2015. He payed at various significant venues and parties such as Club der Visionaere, Wax 4 Breakfast, Bonfim, and more. With a musical culture heavily influenced firstly from house and then extended to a confluence styles, his recipes now are a blended mix of deep house, breakbeat, electro and minimal techno, with a touch of groovy edit.
