Andreas Schmidt (he/him) is a world champion and ten-time German champion in contemporary dance. As a professional theater and company dancer, he has been performing on national and international stages for many years, combining technical excellence with a strong artistic presence. His career has taken him to numerous productions and projects both in Germany and abroad. In addition to his work as a performer, Andreas works internationally as a choreographer and guest lecturer, developing choreographic works for various companies, training institutions, and stage productions. As a choreographer for the SDC and a lecturer at the CDSH, he passes on the experience he has gained from his active stage career to the next generation of artists. With a background in competition, theater, and contemporary dance, Andreas combines athleticism, expression, and versatility. His work is characterized by musical precision, emotional depth, and a clear movement language, which has established him as both a dancer and a creative force in the international contemporary dance scene.
