Alessia D’Isanto is a Berlin-based professional dancer and educator. Her movement language pursues authenticity, using dance as a visceral, embodied dialogue that transcends verbal communication. She has performed with the Oxymoron Dance Company, in films, and music videos, and is an active member of Berlin’s House Dance community.
Sophie Prins (Amsterdam/Berlin) is an interdisciplinary artist working across dance, music, and design. With a background in street/club styles (Hiphop, House Dance) and clarinet, she studied Contemporary Dance (AHK) and Jazz Voice (Conservatory of Amsterdam). As a maker and musician, she creates vulnerable, confrontational performances driven by groove, voice, and movement.
Together, driven by a shared passion for site-specific theater and immersive experiences, Alessia and Sophie challenge the traditional role of art in daily life. Through their collaboration “The Glitter Was A Lie”, they bring dynamic live dance installations to clubs, festivals, and unexpected spaces.
