A Panda do Sol is a Berlin-based ensemble composing, producing, and performing original music since 2016.
The musicians come from diverse backgrounds, with most of them hailing from France and Brazil. Drawing from a wide range of rich musical traditions—including Brazilian samba, French chanson, Caribbean Biguine, New Orleans jazz, and Afro-Brazilian percussion—they create a sound rooted in the vibrant multicultural spirit of Berlin: a powerful fusion of voices, rhythms, and winds.
Their live performances are a captivating blend of strength and poetry, evoking the energy of a circus-like spectacle that dissolves the boundaries between audience and musicians. Through this dynamic exchange, A Panda do Sol explores new modes of communication, offering an immersive experience that bridges the past and present of trans-cultural music.
