The performance creates a space between virtual reality, physical sound and light phenomena. This results in three-dimensional sounds and haptic projections, blurring the lines between perception and reality.
Based on the phenomenon of optical and acoustic interference, video artist Jonathan Steffens and guitarist Reto Weiche allow image and sound to merge, influence each other, and even create each other. They play with the physics of vibrations and waves until it becomes unclear what is created by humans, implemented by machines, or a trick of our perception—what does the ear see, what does the eye hear?
