The transcultural Bridges Kammerorchester – The Composing Orchestra from Frankfurt am Main is a unique European ensemble that has been bringing together musicians and their instruments from various regions of the European, Asian and American continents since 2019. The orchestra members are experts in Arabic, Persian and European classical music, jazz, contemporary music, Eastern European folklore and various forms of Central Asian and Latin American music.
Drawing on their diverse personalities, the musicians compose a large part of their concert repertoire themselves. The Bridges Kammerorchester brings its unique Bridges sound to renowned venues such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Bachfest Leipzig and many more. In 2024, it was included in the federal programme 'Excellent Orchestral Landscape Germany'.
